In honor of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s annual meeting this week in Philadelphia, a little background info on the NATA…..
Founded in 1950, the NATA was established to represent professionals in the field of athletic training. The NATA directors and members work to protect the rights of certified athletic trainers (ATCs) and help spread the word about what ATCs do (we blogged about this a few months back.)
The ever-growing presence of certified athletic trainers in high school settings means smarter, stronger and safer athletes participating in sports every day.
Check out the new NATA website — some of it is still “coming soon” but it’s looking pretty good even while under construction.
