<p>Everyone has their favorite foods, but eating the same thing day after day increases the chance that you’ll miss out on important nutrients.</p>
<p>Try offering your athlete a different fruit or vegetable everyday of the week. Try something new or exotic- be adventurous! The more colorful, the better; bright red, yellow, and orange foods are rich in the antioxidant beta-carotene. Dark green and purple foods are generally high in antioxidants, calcium, and minerals.</p>
