For the style-conscious:  The Sigg Lifestyle Loop Top Bottle comes in dozens of styles featuring hip retro graphics to fun slogans.  It’s Swiss-made of aluminum with a special liner with no harmful metals or chemicals and holds 20 oz. $21.99 at Sigg.com.


For the sweaty mess:  We like the classic Coleman Plastic Jug for its one gallon capacity and easy pour spout.  It’s $13.99 at Target.com.


For the purist:  The Naglene Triton Wide Mouth BPA-free bottle is pure and simple.  The large opening accommodates ice cubes and the attached loop means the top never gets left behind.  It comes in lots of colors so it’s easy to show that school spirit and the price can’t be beat.  16 or 32 ounce from $6.65 and up at Amazon.com.


For the temperature control freaks:  The Polar Insulated Water Bottle is designed to keep liquids cold twice as long as regular water bottles. With its double wall construction, 20 oz. capacity, and BPA free plastic, it’s a great value at $9.80 at Amazon.com.


For the techy:  The Contigo Autoseal Technology Water Bottle is impossible to spill thanks to the spout that automatically seals between sips.  This well-designed option allows for one-handed operation and clips onto a backpack or bag for easy toting.  It’s 24 ounces and is made with BPA-free plastic.  A multi-color three-pack is $37.48  at Amazon.com.
